Cat play and cat toys

As soon as I sat down at the computer turned it on, Bella was here and stretched up and put her claws on the back of my chair. She has learned that she gets my attention very quickly when she goes for the furniture. She wants to play. I've learned to acknowledge that. i get up, or snap my fingers and she stops, and then i play with her for a while. She really needs to work off some of her energy.
I've been through a lot of cat toys. Most aren't interesting for very long. For me or for Bella. One of the most successful one right now is a sisal scratching pad, and a flexable pole. the kind that had a feather on the end.  We use the other end and i gently push and pull it around under the pad, ocassionally sticking the end out like a bug. She pounces and great fun is had.

Cats love turkey

It's the night before Thanksgiving and Bella loves turkey! Finding cat food she likes and that is good for her is a challenge. She loves to eat, but can be picky. I'll be talking a lot about cat food later on so stay tuned.
